Olet Fittings

At Dhanlaxmi Stainless, we offer a premium selection of Olet Fittings designed for branch connections in piping systems where reinforcement, flexibility, and pressure integrity are essential. These self-reinforced fittings allow the connection of a smaller diameter outlet pipe to a larger header pipe without compromising system strength or flow characteristics.

Our range includes Weldolet, Threadolet, Sockolet, Nippolet, Latrolet, Elbowlet, and other customized configurations to suit various piping layouts. Each type is engineered for specific welding, threading, or socket weld connections based on pressure class and installation preference.

Types of Pipes & Tubes

Sockolet (3000#, 6000#)

Sockolets are socket weld branch connection fittings used to create 90° outlets from larger header pipes to smaller branch pipes. They are ideal for high-pressure applications where full-strength, leak-free branch connections are required, without the need for pipe cutting or tee welding. Sockolets are widely used in compact piping layouts and are available in pressure ratings of 3000# and 6000#.

  • Designed to MSS-SP-97 dimensional standards
  • Available in Class 3000 & 6000 for socket weld connections
  • Manufactured in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel & Nickel Alloys
  • Supplied with MTCs, NACE compliance & third-party inspection on request

Weldolet

Weldolets are the most commonly used branch connection fittings in high-pressure piping systems. Designed to minimize stress concentrations, they provide a smooth, reinforced transition from a larger header pipe to a smaller branch. Weldolets are welded directly to the run pipe, offering exceptional strength and reliability.

  • Available in pressure classes 3000#, 6000#, and higher on request
  • Manufactured in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, and Nickel Alloys
  • Offered in sizes from 1/8” to 24” and larger as per design requirements
  • Conforms to MSS-SP-97 dimensional standards and ASME codes

Branzolet & Coupolet

Branzolets and Coupolets are branch connection fittings used to create reliable and compact outlets from header pipes, especially where space constraints or specific flow requirements exist. These fittings are commonly used in fire protection systems, low-pressure applications, and utility piping where full-sized tees are not practical.

Branzolets are typically threaded or socket weld type outlets designed for quick connections in general process piping systems. Coupolets are widely used in fire sprinkler installations and allow easy branch connections without extensive cutting or welding.

  • Available in Threaded and Socket Weld configurations
  • Offered in pressure classes 3000# and 6000#
  • Manufactured from Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, and Nickel Alloys
  • Suitable for fire protection, utility piping, and low-pressure systems

Threadolet

Threadolet is a threaded branch connection fitting used to create a 90° outlet from a larger pipe without welding. Ideal for low-pressure piping systems, it features a female threaded end (NPT/BSP) and is commonly used for instrument connections and small-bore pipe take-offs. Manufactured as per MSS-SP-97, Threadolets are available in pressure ratings of 3000# and 6000#, in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Duplex, Super Duplex, and high-performance Nickel Alloys.

  • Threaded outlet for easy installation without welding
  • Complies with MSS-SP-97 dimensional standards
  • Ideal for instrumentation and low-pressure branches
  • Supplied with MTCs, NACE compliance & optional third-party inspection

Elbolet (Branch Connection Fitting)

Elbolet is a specialized branch connection fitting designed to provide a 90° outlet on long radius elbows or header bends, commonly used in instrument tapping or drain applications. It is available with socket weld, threaded, or butt weld ends and is ideal for space-constrained or angled configurations. Manufactured in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Duplex, and High Nickel Alloys, Elbolets conform to MSS-SP-97 and are supplied in 3000#, 6000#, and higher pressure ratings as required.

  • Designed for use on long radius elbows or bends
  • Available in SW, NPT/BSP, or BW end connections
  • Ideal for instrument connections and drain lines
  • Compatible with MSS-SP-97 and supplied with full traceability

Nippolet (Welded Nipple Outlet)

Nippolet is a one-piece branch connection fitting with an integral nipple that extends from the header run pipe, typically used for small-diameter piping outlets. It combines the function of a weldolet and a pipe nipple, making it ideal for vents, drains, and instrument connections. Manufactured in Stainless Steel, Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel, Duplex, and High Nickel Alloys, Nippolets are available in threaded, socket weld, or butt weld ends and pressure classes like 3000# and 6000#, conforming to MSS-SP-97 standards.

  • Combines outlet and nipple into a single piece
  • Available in SW, NPT/BSPT, and BW ends
  • Used in vents, drains, and instrument connections
  • Conforms to MSS-SP-97 and supplied in 3000# & 6000# ratings
